CATRICE

How do you help users find the right make-up products to match their outfit?

Case study hero

Challenge.

Start with an outfit. Turn it into a makeup look. Then into the right products. That was the connection Catrice set out to build. Inspiring, easy to follow, and tied directly to the product range.

At the core was how this translates into a flow. How an outfit leads to a look, and a look to a set of products. It had to feel natural to use, while still inviting exploration.

Section 1

Approach: Recommendation Logic

The focus was on developing the recommendation logic: from capturing and analyzing the outfit colours to correctly matching Make-Up Looks including the products.

Dark section 1

Approach: Implementation

In parallel, the UX concept took shape. A user journey that guides users from initial inspiration through the recommendation logic to product selection. Intuitive and easy to use.

The UI design translated this structure into a brand-aligned visual experience. The final step was the full technical implementation as a mobile app.
